Pentax K20D and K200D on the way ...

I find it really hard to convince myself to upgrade to K20D even if it comes out... Live view isn't a big deal to me since I don't do macro and I'm very happy with the system, despite the noise level in ISO 1600. Maybe wait for K30D?

Hahaha... That had to depend on yourself. If the K10D can satisfy you, then continue with it. I will stick with my K100D at least after NS or longer. Maybe by the time K300D would be out along with the K30D too.

I am still learning, so most likely the new K20D and K200D would not made me to be tempted unless it's a gift or free (I must be dreaming). :bsmilie:

Haha, my Pentax K10D weathered many storms with me, both wet and dry conditions. From the dry weather in Arizona to the wet weather in Netherlands, a bit hard to let go of it because it has become quite personal to me like an identity card.

Hohoho... Since that's the case, use it till the end of its useful life bah. This is like a tool that serve the carpenter till the end of it's service life. Quite sentimental too

Hope when K30D comes, I am able to afford a camera (older model also never mind) that able to withstand storms with me too.

Cannot agree with you more...after 2 years, haha, maybe K300D oso comeout liao...anyway, I think my K100D is more than enuff( walao, its only 3 months old leh), its very dear to me and i'm unwilling too join the megapixel race...

and i think better photos are those that capture the essence, not much to do with megapixel( unless i take pictures to print onto bannners )

Some nice photo opportunities wasted because I was too scared to expose the K100ds to rain, but I used a plastic bag as an impromptu weatherseal and snapped a couple of pics :bsmilie:

Can't agreed more with you. I don't even bother to keep it back into the bag after shooting, just sling and walk under the rain.:bsmilie:

Hahaha... me too. Not willing to join into the megapixel race since it's not going to have much use for me. Same as me, the K100D is also very very dear to me (since no gf and friends were bz) that has accompany me through my holiday.

Anyway, hope that with the launch of K20D, more people will jump ship to pentax. :thumbsup:

K10 is fine wif me, n probably will last me 4 a long while till i get better wif my DSLR photography skills...

Actually now not so bad... MSColor got a healthy stock of the new series of Pentax lenses, because Florence also told me that she started to see potential in stocking up Pentax because the market share here is slowly growing bit by bit.

thats good news but when I was searching for pancake lens recently, none in SG had it. Anyway got the pancake "trinity" already. My LBA is cured for now! :bsmilie:
