No its Canada actually. UPS tracking shows that it will reach Singapore this coming Monday. Hope everything goes smoothly. ;)

Congrats on the new lens :)

I just bought one yesterday from Amazon, for a good forum friend though ;) Will sure do a F*300 vs DA*300 comparison when it reaches here.

Yeah haha... if money no issue, then can get some other lens already. Anyway the results from the 80-320 looks good. I'm just not sure how good it would be in practice. Anyone can loan me to test ? ;p

How many people got this lens to loan you. Let me know if you really need.:bsmilie:

Thanks fengwei, looking forward for the test.;)

Wow, looks like can start DA300 club, Singapore chapter with
sbc & fengwei as the inaugural founding members.
Congrats guys!

That's not what I meant.
I wanted to know if the 55-300 was worth SG$700 from a IQ/features/build quality/whatever POV.

Saw very good reviews from the US pentaxians... but never seen it in action amongst the Pentaxians in Singapore... So I reckon you'll have to buy to test? :dunno:

Does this mean that the F* is up for ... ;)

CONGRATS!!

That one is very good price.:)

Wow, many eyes on 80-320mm but my thought on top priority is Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 because some of CS experienced members gave good valuable feedbacks that either Tamron or Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 is best recommended for low light condition like workshops or event that external flash was not allowed.

Yet it is out of my tight budget because I bought Tamron 17-50mm and Pentax 540FGZ within one month... No money spare for me....

Look like I have to think twice carefully what I need most, use often...

Agreed with fengwei. This one took recently with the 80-320.:)

Cool.... nice images Fengwei and istDeS took photos...

This len is good for daylight but not good in low light condition??? :dunno:
