...for the 19" screen protector, you can try using the sticky plastic from stationery shops. The screen sticker/protector I got from MS looks very much like those from statioery shop where I bought to stick on soft book-covers or old style paper type driver's license. They come in roll as big as 1x1 metre with square hatching/lines on the paper size to aid cutting.

I'm actually trying to avoid the stick ons because when I'm using my LCD to edit images, the calibration will not work with the plastic over it, so will need to remove the protector.

I'm looking for a protector after hearing my nephew woke up earlier than his parents, took a pencil and drew lines on his dad's LCD... so... hehehe...

18 bit panels are 16.2m colours.

24 bit panels are 16.7m colours.

IIRC, the higher the colour depth, the response time also lengthens.

Look out if the dvd burner plextor PX716A got offer. Very slim chance though. No such luck in the last show. No regret type of machine.
