Pasir Ris photographers outing?

i think im blessed with a peeping sunset everyday. the sunsets last year around this time were exceptionally gorgeous.
I'm sorry this is a little soft,its taken with my old Powershot A520 :embrass:

Looks very CG. What camera and lens are you using?

I will try to capture a picture from my house and post it here soon~

I'm using the 40D with the kit lens (18-55 IS) newly opened at the scene, hahahaha.. those were long exposure and I have to lean the cameller on the rails for them. Using AV priority at f4.5 (1st) and f5.6(2nd), ISO 400.

Wow! This is great! Did you use any filter? Can share the settings?

hmm, taken some time ago, 400D EF100mm likely to be F9 multiple exposure (-2EV and +2EV) and merged in CS2 kind of like experimental HDRi. Really can't remember the shuttle speed as it was shot with AV priority, ISO 100. Need to dig up the RAW to check the EXIF.

:sweatsm:... Alloo.. don't complain, I stay mid floor also, beside my bedroom windows, most other windows face another block or a wall.. while you can see the sunset, I get to see sunrise.

... I really liked this one, there's very unusally cloud pattern, kind of in a twirl. If the twirl were in the centre with a bit more fore-ground silouette, it would be picture-post card man... Velasco, you got pretty good vantage out of your flat .....:thumbsup:

Haaha yesterday. Told ya November skies are da bomb. I recalled breaking my Ramadhan fast with great twilight skies.

Watch out for today, the last few days have consecutively great skyscapes.
could it be due to the change in hourly climate, rain in the afternoon then stopped before evening? :dunno:
i wanna go research what contributes to a pictureque sunset.

i totally envy u guys getting good view from your windows. i live in st71, 8th floor and all i can see are other ppls' beds in their bedroom of cos. everytime i try to bring out my cam to shoot the skyline, i wld notice someone eyeing me suspiciously as if i was some pervert shooting some girls changing in their room.

I'm toying with the idea of engaging a "model" on a shared cost basis for a 2.5 hrs photoshoot in Pasir Ris vicinity. Thinking of just limiting to 4 photographers (Pasir Risian of course) to explore portrait.

Also need some suggestion on suitable location within our neighbourhood and some theme to work on. Anyone interested?

If you know of any suitable "model" who may volunteer would be best.....:lovegrin:
