it can be found in their magazine "Voices" on the centrespread (behind the calendar)
distributed to the central district

it is not a contest, you submit they choose and publish with your name (i think)
you get $30 book vouchure all © belongs to you.

they only want to right to publish on thier voices magazine as an article to feature parks of singapore

i think to get the residents to go out to the parks.

here is a link to the previous issue page (pdf file)

Like #2. Simple and gives a good feeling.

Personally, it will feel better if the pic had less ground and more tree top.

Love them all. Love the colours too. You have a good eye

nice pix. did you photoshopped? what lens were you using?

Thanks all! ;p

Yup, photoshop has been applied to almost all the pics. But mostly just adjusting of curves and contrast. I find that photoshop is almost a must for digital photography, it really gives you alot more freedom to do what you want with your pics...eg, soften, brighten, sharpen, convert to monotones, etc.

Most pics shot with a tamron 18-200 on nikon d50.

Another trip to Lower Seletar reservoir this morning...

Thanks!

Here's my workflow for the dreamy effect...
1. Duplicate layer
2. Add Gaussian Blur to 2nd Layer
3. Reduce the opacity in 2nd layer under blending options
4. Apply unsharp mask on 1st layer.

Cheers.
:)

Trying a square crop for the next one...
