did anyone use a special pano tripod for their pano pictures ?
I understand that the special pano tripod swivels the camera on the front of the lens rather than from the usual camera body position. This will cause less perspective distortion.

Up to this moment, I am still shooting handheld. But a pano swivel is already made but do not have the time or place to try it out.

A panorama head will assist you in finding the nodal point on your lens and make life easier for the stitching software. But it takes time to setup.

Newbie doing panorama. Lots to learn. Hope u guys dont mind.:)

One of the Best Vista shot of Clark Quay I've ever seen!
All the settings and technical elements were beautifully captured!
Great Work! Cheers! :D

Thanks Blu-By-U and adrewine for the praising. As compare to you guys I'm million miles behind. Still need to learn tons from you guys. Cheers ;p

Were you trying to capture the details in the sky for #1? It looks a little underexposed to me.

#2 is very well done though!

Think I should trim off the bottom of the window frame?

this is my pano took at Redang.

Yes.
Alternatively, you could go there again to retake the shot making sure that the window pane is push out of the way. They allow it in that teahouse on Rainbow Bridge, you know. :D

Forget it. the amount of walking and the disappointment of all my shots being misty is already a put off. I just trim the pano shorter. :D..1 pair of worn out shoes and 5kgs of fats..no thank you. I am staying away from that place.

So sad... I absolutely love Fenghuang. Wouldn't mind living there at all.
I lost weight too (which should be considered a good thing) mainly because of the walking in the rest of Zhangjiajie and the not-so-tasty food provided.

Don't really need to stitch together a few images to form a panorama... just get an ultra wide-angle lens. :)

True also Uncle tomcat..7-14 just trim away the top sky and get a panorama!!! So that new cheapo standard Wide that coming to Oly's gonna get a lot of adopters.

Handheld panorama with my E-3. :)
