GX1 or G3 body alone is around SGD720 to SGD750 and even cheaper in US
OMD body alone is around SGD1150.

just my estimate....

Across the Causeway, can get the body at RM3090, or $1236 and with kit lens at RM3800, or $1520.
I've called most of the major camera shops here and seem body only is out of stock everywhere but with kits are easily available ard $1720

To me, the G5 looks much better than the G3. There is a reviewer who mentioned that for the size of the G5, might as well get a Canon 650D,hmmm, i think he has a point. Anyway, I see the G5 as a poor man's OMD.

To me, the G5 looks much better than the G3. There is a reviewer who mentioned that for the size of the G5, might as well get a Canon 650D,hmmm, i think he has a point. Anyway, I see the G5 as a poor man's OMD.

G5 has a bigger grip but doesn't make it that as big as 650D. And of course the lenses need to be considered

By the way, LX7 review is up. Specs looks really good!

Ah.. question is this lx7 with smaller sensor better than the rx100 with bigger sensor but not as bright a lens. Any chance CS will be doing a Rx100 review?

Quite impressive of the specs and smaller sensor,
But can boot up 12800 ISO damn good.
The interesting is 24mm @ f1.4 wow cool

look like u are a tough customer that very hard to please. if they dun put leica lens, there are nosie “what..no leica lens for LX7 ?”
and now they put the summilux f1.4, you question whether it is worth to put the lens into LX7. Hahaa….

My guess is LX7 would be around SG650. Tested the cam yesterday for 5min, the bokeh at both 24mm and long end quite good. Definitely a major improvement from LX5.


btw...The white LX7 look more charming than the black one

Put leica lens can feel more fashion to have it & the original leica will be announce also.
But price is double up.

Maybe will be get it for replace my older LX3.

certainly. a unit is beign reviewed by hosea now..look forward more improvement in LX7.
i personally would wait for more review between LX7 vs EX2. RX100 is now out from my list, at SGD999 is really too much to ask for.
