LX-5 Lens thread has been changed. It is wider than LX-3’s. Ricoh LC-1 Lens Cap no longer fits.

Just to add-on

it is still possible to fit the lens cap with some modification as pointed out by user in wirefresh

"The Ricoh exploding lens cap will fit if you carefully shave off some of the interal plastic using a sharp blade. It took me about 15 minutes but it now fits perfectly and very snug. I only had to shave off two of the three tabs. The larger lens on the LX5 means there is no danger of vingneting."

Hi, yip, have to wait for LX7 for more improvements. Don't mind paying more, say $1K to add swivel LCD, 18-135mm...etc
