. Any idea how to do a continuous face-detection focus mounted on monopod / selfie stick? My experience yesterday was not great. FIrst, I mounted it on the monopod and set to 2 sec delay shutter with face-detection focus . Then I turn it around, pointing towards my face, press shutter, lift up monopod away from me and it took a picture after 2 sec. When done, I realised that the focus was off. The choice for delayed shutter was not great, either 2 sec to take 1 picture or wait 10 sec to take 1 or 3 pictures. Just wondering what are the workarounds for taking selfie on this camera. 6. 1 battery can last u how long for overseas trip? 3 batteries u think enough? Charge daily at night in hotel. Thanks in advance.

Use your selfie stick with the image app. Don't need to use the timer one.

I was shooting with my Manfrotto 701 video head today. I realized that the base of the Panasonic's lens is flushed with the camera. When i mount the camera onto the plate, the AF/ zoom ring is stuck. Some protruding pieces of the plate is also likely to scratch the lens/ camera.

Everyone please take note when using video heads.

Anyone knows what's the shutter lifespan? If I keep using e-shutter only, does it mean the shutter will never be worn out?

The $33 one? Rather top up $7 to get the black. Also easier to sell next time.

Should have gotten the black one instead. The silver one just don't match the black camera body. Better yet, get the Leica black cap as it looks more metallic than the plasticky Panasonic one.

Have to say, it does look unique. Doesn't blend in with everyone else's camera for sure. It's one easily reversible way to add some silver to a 109 since it comes only in black.
