Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LX100 & LEICA D-Lux Type 109

Ricleo

May I ask where you get the cokin filter please?

Thx

I find this really annoying. I like to select focus area with the cursor keys but if I were to switch on Direct Focus Area, there is no more quick access to the adjustments(ISO, drive and WB) assigned to these keys!

Just assign one of the Fn buttons to "focus area set" then you can now hit the Fn button to adjust the focus area.

Btw this is the first camera I can actually shoot auto ISO and intelligent ISO with confidence. The algorithm is really not bad especially intelligent ISO, now I just start in program priority which for me is aperture priority most of the time and almost never touch the ISO.

Ha, yeah. Was a bit annoying at first. It took me about a week before I got used to clicking Left > Down as a quick shortcut on the control wheel whenever I want to select/move AF points.

Thought of that but it will only add confusion to the controls. Can't imagine pressing the ISO button to change the focus area and another button(which is labelled differently) to change the ISO.

Thanks! Its not as nifty but its better than nothing!

I edited my post, I think it is more streamlined.

To summarize, basically you set one of the Fn buttons to "focus area set". Now just hit that Fn button to set your focus area.

Thanks but I prefer kandinsky's suggestion. I try not to reassign the other buttons.

haha i ordered 3 at a go... USD 125 and free shipping as it was sold by amazon...

those were the last 3! now they are sold by other retailers, fulfilled by amazon. not sure if free global shipping still applies.

Same here, what I did was to assign the back/trash can button to select focus area. So far works for me.

I agree with smurfpiss , this is one camera that I shoot intelligent ISO in and so far so good :) I wouldn't go beyond ISO 1600 though.

Thanks but I still prefer the left + down key option. Leaving the back thrash button for quality selection.
