Hello, Wondering whether updating of firmware can be done without lens attached to body.
IMHO, possible but unable to check on screen the firmware version unless a lens is attached
then the downloaded firmware will be displayed.
 

Is the G1 club always so quiet? :confused:

By the way, is the 3rd party battery available in the market? I really need a 2nd battery.. My original batt can only last me half a day. sigh... :cry:

For my method of shooting, it last around 270 to 320 pictures. ;) How about yours?

For me, RAW & no flash, at least 500.

I realize G1 with some other big apperture lens, it can achieve very nice pop out effect...
Is manual focus easy to use & fast enough ? :think:
