Damn, the lens on HK Panasonic website one day after I left!! Official price selling for $12900 or SGD2050. Street price in HK should be about SGD1750.

that's a shame, you could have been first few here to get it. Amazon jap is about 102k yen, about $1650. The 12-35 & 35-100 surprisingly amazon Japan has very good price. But then no wty.

true, perhaps it wasn't priced to the cost of manufacturer, just a certain % below lowest FF equivalent of the 2 most popular mainstream brands.

All consumer photographic equipment makes reference to the 35mm format. This is the equivalent to the 70-200 f2.8 in terms of aperture and angle of view ... right?

Looks like that's the trend ... 30% below the lowest of Nikon/Canon.

Now we just need a 7-12 f2.8 to poison us. Or an affordable 7-14 f4 that can mount filters.
