Anybody buy camera or photo accesories from P&G Photographic Centre, location at The Adelphi building? Any comments of this shop?

This shop selling SB-800 at S$560 (check from shop website), I think this is grey or shop waranty.

I had good encounters with P&G (the one at Peninisula Hotel). The boss, Andrew is a nice guy and very knowledgeable especially for vintage cameras & Medium format camera. He does have some grey products that he has his sources of bringing into Singapore.

The one at the Adelphi basement is owned by his brother.

Hi angalphoto, thanks for the input. Yes you are right but this shop also sell brand new item. The SB-800 what I refer to is new item.

I agree with your comment that Andrew (Peninsula) is nice and pleasant to deal with. You can still offer reasonable bargains with him. The operative word is reasonable. I have personally purchased several items from him.

P & G has 2 branches - one at the Adelphi (David Phan) and the other at Peninsula Hotel (same building as TCW) - on the ground floor next to a food court and run by Andrew Phan. Please do not confuse this with Prime in Peninsula Plaza where the Phan brothers were/are (???)partners.

David repairs and services cameras, besides selling photographic equipment. Andrew just sells. They are both very nice brothers and are very knowledgeable about the stuff they sell. Sometimes good prices too but you must know your prices in order to get good deals!

Got David to quote a price to clean my 28-135mm. However his price was $10 more than having it cleaned at Canon centre. Maybe he does a better job than Canon?
