Yeah it's quite good except it's not razor sharp wide open but it has the dreamy softness feel .

The FE 55mm 1.8 is expensive indeed , the money could be spent on the power cz 50mm1.4 instead

check out the review of the CZ 50 1.4 on the A7r yet? price is quite a lot higher than the FE 55 1.8 though, plus size is much bigger. i guess this is the trade off for using F1.8. the smaller size

Yeah I saw this. Price of FE 55m is around 1.3 rite ? Must really see how great this 55mm lens is then haha

DP Review has always been biased against Sony and Samsung.

Not only them, a large part of the photography world have always been biased against them. Some prominent camera shops still doesnt carry Sony products
