Just for discussion purposes, what if the cops come after multiple flashes gone off in the night and drivers by City Hall complains? Any alternative locations that is flash safe? I am thinking about this the whole day... headache.

good point..

later people complain to LTA..i not speeding why kena red light camera xia..

hmm maybe like a field ? away from housing estate ?

2 possible locations that I thought possible would be Marina Barrage (the upper most deck, several locations and at the end of the dam before joining to Marina East) and the open space just behind the Singapore Flyer on the F1 track, in front the body of water of Marina Bay. (see photographs)

Marina Barrage possible location #1

Of course the other concerns for these locations will be 1) clean subject isolation (as there might be members of the public there as well, might be caught in the photographs) 2) Getting back after that is gonna be quite headache for some (for Marina Barrage) 3) Wet weather condition

Great guys, keep the ideas coming... but the issue here is, I prefer locations that has texture in the background for lighting.

I am personally thinking about Red Dot Museum at Maxwell Road. Provides shelter in case of wet weather.

Benares, Marina Barrage is a good idea, but getting there for most people is a pain right?

I finally get what you are driving at... yeap, Barrage is a real pain getting to/fro...

Just thinking out loud, what'd u think of SMU/NAFA campuses?

Comparing these to getting possible legal actions from authorities, it's of a differing scale :bsmilie:

that's why i love being me,i don't attract mosquitos, they fly away from me,only a few daring ones dare to come :bsmilie:

But yea,i honestly have no idea where either, thought of Vivo, then remembered at night also have a lot of people on the roof

Some suggestions:

South Beach Development. They opened the place during the Biennale exhibition. It's sort of enclosed place, and plenty of textures and pillars for the project. The only thing is getting the appropriate authority to let us use the place.

Fort Canning Hill? People with no car can walk in, but it will be quite a hike. We might offend some couples though.

Cavenagh Bridge? We have the possibility of lighting the outside of Victoria Theatre provided theres no event there. Or we can go to the outside of the Museum there.

National Stadium or PA. Self explanatory I guess.

For the Old Parliament house side, if we wanna be public friendly, I think we can try to time the shooting. The traffic ain't that high. So, might still be ok.

Old Parliament House is where I am thinking of... but no wet weather plans for 30 pax for that day... though the front restaurant is closed now, I think... no one there this evening when I went there to take a look. Under Supreme Court is another alternative, but the problem is traffic again... don't want to scare driver with many flash heads.

Hmmm.... will keep trying to think... Old Parliament House and Victoria Theatre is definitely somewhere I want to try working at. My only concern is still wet weather... not sure what time Red Dot Museum closes.
