I have no official statistics, however no one has come back with a defective flash unit so far.

Also, are the bulbs easily available?

Yes, I have spare modelling lamps and flash tubes available with me.

What are the variation and consistency of the flash.

Flash power is consistant, colour temperature is around 5200K to 5500K as per stated in the specs.

What is the recycle time at full,half blast?

Full cycle takes about 9 secs, half cycle take about 4 secs to recharge. Remember that this is running from a 12V DC source, so there are some limitations.

Here is a brief basic introduction to the various models of strobes

PM series
- Latest model; Is a full digital strobe.
- Able to adjust power via buttons instead of knobs. 1/16 to 1/1 power.
- Has overheat protection.
- Fastest recharge time as compared to the rest.

MS series
- New models (new look)
- Power adjustment by knobs (analog). 1/8 to 1/1 power.
- Has overheat protection

M series
- Essentially similar to the MS series but has an older layout.

1. What is a "full digital strobe" and any advantage over the "analog" strobe?

2. Will you then strongly recommended the MS series over the M series?

(Reason I ask is: my heart is little itchy on this?)
