this set of pictures, should be some eye openers for many of the noobs or newbie or whatever you call them.

strong sense of composition, colour, shape and form, hi-shutter speed freezing of liquid, slow/long shutter speed of spinning movement, isolation of water drop, silhouettes, depth of field, practically whatever is covered in the basic of photography is being showcased here.

sure there's going to be a lot of what lenses, shutter, iso sort of question to pop out....

one crit since you'd asked....if the rain drop is taken out of a chinese temple's glazed roofing tile it could have been better.

TS you're welcome. I have subscribed to this thread. Good stuff.

I've shot some pics on a HP as well, just a 2MP one, and someone actually told me one of them (this one) has the feeling of a film shot. Interesting.

This goes to show that photography is a lot more than equipment. It is the eye for art and you definitely have it. The medium is just a technicality.
