Just to let you get a feel of the Spray and Pray capability of the camera, just spray and select the right moment

Hard to believe that you actually sprayed on Santa ............. :p

...there's actually more to it ....like getting into the closet ....hovering under a blanket .... I bet kei chan didn't tell you all about it. :bsmilie:

Naughty naughty :nono:

:bsmilie:

wow, challenging. So the subject should be on the far side of the room, in the dark?

somewhere off the source of the light :D

The longkang transformation, I see clearer water on the other side

NX 50-150mm S Lens

nice, pictures are sharp and contrasty.

Nice! Hoping the NX400 (same sensor same tech as NX1) do come early 2015 ..

Please senior show us stills pulled from 4K! :)

When you spray and pray, are you using jpeg or raw? I tried in Samsung store the other day. I was disappointed with the buffer of camera and the processing speed. Spraying with 15fps on raw, the buffer filled up within 1 or 2 sec and took 5 or more sec to clear with the camera no usable at that moment.

I have no official word about the rumored camera/s
so can only hope, I actually prefer the ergonomics from a DSLR like form factor.

anyway, lets go to the light and see how it handles high key scenes

White plate on white plastic material on top of my white washing machine placed next to a window in my kitchen
Shot with a NX30mm f2 lens, ISO200, f5.6, 1/100s

What do you think?

Spray and pray was done using JPEG as I wanted to see what the camera can do on its own and not my post processing skills, i will do a buffer test, af in darkness and 4K video screen grab test.
I do not have video equipment so I can only test using just the camera lens and tripod.

White roll off real nice..wonder how much blown stuff could be recovered with PP..

I'm hoping 4K still grab handheld test will prove to be even better than S & P! Could be very influential in choice of my next camera body. Thank you so much sir for what you do! :D I hear Samsung stock took a hit today or something?

Picture looks good but video seems a bit weird.

There seems to be some digital distortion(is there a name for it?) on the outline of subject, saw a few NX1 video in Youtube have similar effect.

Is this a problem during file conversion or the result of constant AF during video shooting?
