study the flight pattern of the bee and let it get used to you being there
then aim, focus and shoot

Yah, I saw in disovery channel, the bees is very efficient workers. Once their scout reports pollen location, they fly in straight line to/fro the nest.....very systematic....so you can be sure that when they leaves, they will come again......but still the skill to capture is :o

This is a male carpenter bee (Xylocopa confusa); like all other bees he feeds on nectar and will surely appreciate some honey, but when he hovers as he usually does he isn't interested in feeding; he is defending his territory against other males and looking out for a mate at the same time :D

The female of this species is black, with a yellow thorax.

see above for more info of this bee

:bsmilie: :bsmilie: So you dressed in black that day?:bsmilie: :bsmilie:
