wah... so many positive feedback, here's my negative :thumbsd: feedback....
went to look at tripod, 3 staff, 1 serving a customer another 2 dunno do what
i've been standing there almost 10mins plus, 2 of them didn't come to entertain, i have to ask the 1 serving customer for info ;(

If i need assistance I look up and ask one of them for it. But if not then usually i prefer that sales staff leave me alone. Could be a case of the latter in this instance too, where their sales staff perceived that it was best that you be given some privacy & space and that if you needed them then they were around to help? Just a thot...:think:

Wow...fantastic price. I do think sometimes that many B&S prices in CS are a bit on the higher side...esp for older without warranty resale items (even though sellers might claim them to be in good or mint condition). Better to get a new grey set from OP (or anywhere else) then if price is so close or even lower! :thumbsup:
yeah i prefer this as well...but if cybertron appraoch for help and they ignore or show attitude like some other "gd" shops then would be different...

The same happened to me on that day, but I'll rather they be that way, so that I can browse for what I want before requiring their assistance. I don't like to have pple following me around and asking me questions when I'm in browsing mode. :bsmilie: Turns me off.

i also think that a lot of ppl selling at ridiculous price at B&S.
For eg, someone got a bid of $160 for the D40x kit lens and still waiting for higher bids. The official list price is only $150! seow man!

Absolutely agree. Whilst the sellers are somewhat unrealistic, I think buyers are also not helping by being not informed or done their homework enough.

i jus went to orient photo after all the hype here in CS. i felt that i mux visit this shop to get a 'feel' of this hotly-discusses shop.
i actually bought something from them. i like the price. great. :thumbsup:
wat do i think of their services?
ok, not bad. they attend to me when i required their help which is good.
their knowledge of products?
ok la, but am surprised they do not know about the 3rd party LS Chrome version even though it was featured on the 3rd party website.
their range of products?
am impressed with the high-end camera bags that they carry(Billy bags and Domke). din't see Kata though. saw Matin's camera bags which are really a direct copy of Billy bags. affordable and very very well designed.
the shop seem well stocked with some nice gadgets from Matin(camera straps..etc. i fancy one Nikon strap!) and some filters. i din't check on the lenses as i'm not looking at any in case i get tempted...
i think i really fancy some of the nice Matin bags(check them out!!) and will visit them if i want to get some nice gadgets.

do watch out for the pricing of bags at OP... may be more expensive...
bought a LowePro backpack at $180 at TK Photo but later found out OP sells them for $230!
i told them i bought mine cheaper and they asked me how much... they were surprised that i could get it cheaper than their price...
so at the end of the day... must still homework...
