A few more ups and the store may start to be more proud and reduction in service level and pricing.

Upz for a great store with amazing service.

Then we'll start to down that shop & look for a new one to up.:bsmilie:

OR it will encourage them by letting them know that their service level and pricing is appreciated...

to survive as a grey-stock seller, low pricing alone is not enough...the trust of your customers cannot be deferred to the product manufacturer; you have to earn the trust of your customers or they will never come back to you again....

AND let other shops learn that good services bring in more customers...

A certain workshop store selling grey sets is a pretty lousy grey products seller. Pricing not competitive and not much difference. Maybe the opening of OP will shake them awake.

orient photo sell grey stocks only?

so the sigma and tokina lens are all grey sets without local warranty?

Sigma Lens they are selling come with local warranty, but you have to send the lens back to the shop, they will send it to the service centre then.

Very good service, bought a Sigma 10-20 with my friend. They give a different net price for cash and NETS payment and I think that tells their margin is really low.

Other shops really need to improve their services and stop acting like they are big boss...

Hi, does anyone know how much they are charging for the Nikon D40 inclusive of GST. Also the 55-200 VR lens.

Thanks

Bro, we are not the OP Customer Service Centre.

Since there's already people listing out their phone number and website, why not just call n check with them?

I was just there to purchase the Sigma 10-20 with my bro GriGri just now, and I am very very satisfied with the service. Their eagerness to serve us won me over. Of course the attractive pricing helped me to make the decision really quickly.

When we were stepped into the shop, there was no other customers except the both of us. Lynn stopped a DVD drama that she was watching on her laptop immediately to serve us, even though we were closer to the guy. They both then proceeded to serve us happily even though they were closing.

However, I feel strange writing a post like this. I wouldn't say that they went out of their way to serve us. Yet I felt a sense of satisfaction. I think it has got to be the poor service that we seem to get very often, here on sunny Singapore island.

I would go back there for my next purchase. I hope they sell soap and toilet rolls too...:bsmilie:

Guys you really sound like troll... But having been there, I can only say they are seriously "providing" service. Sometimes it's not even about price but being able to feel like trusting the person you're talking to, in a shop.

Dropped by to get a reflector this evening and enquired about the 1D Mk III. Was quoted around $6200+ and the 1D Mk IIn is going for $5300+. I must say those are very very attractive pricing. Even the 5D ($3700+) and the 30D ($1600+) is tempting me to get my second body...

Wow, really attractive prices.....I am tempted also.
Did you ask about the warranty? What is the warranty period given by the shop?

All one year shop warranty... 1D Mk III pricing will only be confirmed upon stock arrival.

just bought an EN-EL3e battery from them for $75. not bad since other stores sell it @$85.
