simply boycott shoot organisers who do not live up to your expectations or who failed to keep their own promises.

let ur money do the voting, support organisers that are trustworthy and responsible.

simple.

but why should newbies who are new to the scene be "chopped carrot head" a few times to know who are the reputable 1s. this is not lucky draw... :sweatsm:

photoshoot is not vending machines that dispense toys in capsules. you lucky get get organiser, not lucky just join another organiser's photoshoot next time (if not lucky again, try yet another), lol.

Agreed, which is why threads like this exist, to put feedback and the like.

Most of the stuff have already been voiced out by wheresmycheese on the shoot.

Just to add, there were quite a number of passers by who were happily snapping away at the model that got her agitated.

I feel this is where the organiser could have stepped in to stop them.

hey kel i agree with you. I recall you were there too that day with 2 bodies. it was really bad wasn't it? haiz.. i see everyone face also sian 1/2 tat day!!!

if i am not wrong the organiser was busy shooting away too when the model got pissed he just smile like *oh my god what am i to do?*

Maybe we should have just walk out from the shoot. btw nice photos you gt other wise ruined by the harsh makeup :(

If not happy can seek a refund at the spot, now say also no use only make everything cloudy like an illusion. but of course this is low level illusions as compared to what my mangekyou sharingan can do.

wat 'chop carrot' a few times? dun b a kuniang!

if u're insistent and fierce, i'm certain that the lousy organisers die die will return u the $$ u forked out, provided that they are the ones who made the mistake such as their failure to keep their promises and have failed to deliver.

u're a consumer, not happy then bang table. if they insist on not returning u the $$, very well, u can come back to CS and tell everyone else. that is the ultimate blow.

spread the word around. vote with ur $$.

on the other hand, if the organiser has done well, then support him/her.

a photoshoot is not durian buying session. what bang table? why should paying photographers be put through such an upset in the first place?

the ultimate solution is for all respectable organisers not to continue using CS as a medium to advertise their services because black sheeps are embolden to act as they please. when all respectable shoot organisers have left we'll know who are the black sheeps.

spread the word around? that can be countered with a threat of trying to defame so-&-so.

Maybe we should have a eating system for e shoot organisers just like what used to me in the B&S section
In this way at least there can be more feedback on the shoot organisers.

u paid for a service and it is not delivered.

then how? u suck it up is it?

u want to make a difference and u want to get ur $$'s worth, do something abt it.

on the spot.

demand ur $$ back.

raise awareness of such an incident in CS.

then wat? NATO?

i do believe this issue is not new to CS, there are not just shoot organisers who spoil the broth, there are model (& their wannabe peers) who add to the mix. models too are paid, in that respect there must be a level of professionalism. no?

if you or anyone knows a headache free (or less) way to go about demanding money, full or partial. please contribute for the good of all. why am i even saying this to a Mod? lol... how does one go about demanding refund on the spot as you claim? :dunno:

this is why this thread is moved here the FAQs and Feedback. because ordinary members can't do much on our own. awareness has been raised, suggestions given. if ordinary members have to power to impose their own rules & enforce them, Mods & Admins will have to play firemen running around dousing all the flames when a dispute arises.

how do you define NATO? or are you as a Mod trying to flame bait here? & lead to this thread being locked so the issue gets sweeped under carpet (happily those who earn $$ just laugh all the way to the bank?)?

HUH?!

what flamebaiting? wake up. grow up! read through what i typed!

i m offering a solution to the problem as a typical Singaporean!

get real and dun jump to conclusion.

it is ur $$ n u haf the right to get the exact right service.

and what haf u offered thus far in this thread?

nothing. absolutely nothing. only linking the CSers who felt cheated as 'roberts', 'carrot-heads'.

if u think u can come up with a better solution, by all means!

if not, get out of this thread and go bother someone else with your nonsensical replies as well as your immaturity.

such a reply is not any constructive.

such a reply is neither constructive nor mature. :nono:

it is necessary to reply in such a manner to someone who refuses to help solve the matter at hand and instead, skirt around the problem and tried to be funny.

if u are really serious about making ClubSnap's Photoshoot better and to further improve the kind of standard that has been set, you will offer solutions, suggestions instead of branding such members as 'carrot-heads' or 'roberts'.

how does that help?

we're consumers here! and definitely we're not buying durians but attending a fotoshoot with other CSers!

if the service is not delivered, promises not made, we as consumers OF COS can demand to have our $$ back, no?

if you say no then ur $$ is very easy to earn. perhaps u're the 'carrot-head', the 'robert' that you yourself have typed and described.

remember, a fool and his money are soon parted!

firstly, we mux identify the problems faced in such shoots.

then, we mux rectify the problems faced.

finally, we mux see improvements and effort made by the named organisers in their next shoot, otherwise, who else will go to their future shoots? they will only bring about their own end as an organiser in CS.

help to make CS a better place for all and not to gloat at the misfortune of others.

I think both of you should take a step back and let the others discuss.

i apologise for sidetracking from the main points of discussion.

my bad.

let us focus on the main issue and how better to improve the current situation!

thanks!

Just a suggestion - can CS impose a rating systems to organisers? Let the members who attended photoshoots vote for the organisers themselves.
Of coz this cannot be an anonymous vote, whether a positive or negative vote the person who vote can have the option to voice out or state their reasons.

A feedback system is always good ... but again an open feedback system can be a potential for abuse ...

1) How do we monitor "only members who have attended the shoot can vote"?
2) Otherwise organisers can sabotage each other just to cut a bigger share of the pie

I am all for a feedback and rating system ... but it has to be a fair and "as transparent as possible" system.

maybe a photo of the shoot to prove the guy attended? or link because when we go for shoot organsier normally add your nick to the list. hence maybe like how VR-Zone does it?

I agree on the fair system you raised, you have valid points.

Yeah, my thoughts were quite similar like the VR trading reputation I had in mind.
