Ordering lenses over the NET

i m interesting to order some nikon lenses over the internet... sellers from HK are offering good prices and have more that 1-yr international warrenty for the lenses... need your advise before i take this plunge... any pitfall or experience which you can relate... thks

i looking at ebay-HK... some of the items after including shipping are cheaper than buying in SG & also offer better warrenty... but not all items are cheap so you really have to scout around.

one thing though, if you order your lenses on the net. It would be a big head ache if the lens is damaged when it arrive here as experienced.

Hassle yes, headache no. Most of the sellers will ship it with insurance. So, you have to file the complaint to the shipper within X days to claim. They will also tell you exactly what to do. A lot of additional work.
