not too bad for starters.... why don't you try isolating just one orchid and try shooting it as close as possible? watch the lighting as well, if you are not using flash, make sure the ambient lighting is bright enough. you can also try shooting the orchid when dew drops have collected on it (i.e. EARLY in the morning!) or just after a rain shower (which is v common these days), which gives u a different feel to the pic. keep shooting!

i reach there already 4pm, only left 2 hours for me n capture, cos there close at 6pm.
maybe i should go again n try to shot again in morning!!
