Guys does the steady shot work well for video? How does handheld video look using this lens. I have a a7s and am thinking of getting this to shoot some video

I found banding issues w my a7r and wide angle lens (16 mm e F2.8). (Banding can occur due to angle to the sun, lens quality and sensor capability). Does anyone has banding problem with this 16-35 lens w Sony a series camera with a polarizer?

Yes, surprisingly CP quoted me $1560 cash ($1640 CC), the lowest among most shops I've checked. SLR Revo who usually has the lowest cash price quoted $1618. Unfortunately CP has no stocks at all.

How do u find the lens? Still think if. I should get it. Find it Big and heavy like a brick!

I did shoot with it. Find the lens to be sharp at 4 corners. The weight and size is alright. I don't find it too heavy.

Couldn't resist it and bought it this afternoon, planning to bring it for some testing.

May I ask what sorts of filter are you guys using? I am on the Lee seven5 system but with the max adapter size at 72mm, I am quite sure I will lose some estate especially at the widest. From internet, I read that no blockage from 19mm onwards. Heading down to Funan to see if I can find some screw-in NDs or stopper.
