For a zoom lens, the FE 16-35 is one hell of a sharp, and nice sunburst too!

how's the FE compared to your CV 21mm?
aside from the manual and different focal length, the sharpness and IQ of the CV 21mm, I'm certain is not lacking?

you can't really compare a prime to a zoom and vice versa lah. different.

but for a zoom the SEL1635Z is really sharpness even across the frame at 16 and 35. buay pai. the starburst is also subtle.

the CV21 ah... the sharpness is extreme and so shiok. but i don't like the starburst haha...

both lenses control the distortion well, with the 21mm doing it better...

but it's apples and oranges nia.

if i have the money i'll buy the 16-18-21 Leica Wide-Angle Tri-Elmar.

I shot the ZM 18mm side by side the FE16-35 on a A7s and I can say sharpness is comparable between the prime and the zoom, like I mentioned earlier, the FE16-35 is one hell of a sharp zoom lens! The colours from the FE16-35 tend to be cooler though...

Guys does the steady shot work well for video? How does handheld video look using this lens. I have a a7s and am thinking of getting this to shoot some video
