I find the sharpness good at 16mm f4 and very good at f8 onwards. I also tried mounting Haida 83mm filter holder with slight vignetting (correctable) at 16mm.

I didn't notice it actually. I shoot raw and import into capture one. I think C1 may have analysed and fixed it already. I briefly checked 1 pic I took today under afternoon sun with that unchecked and it's not noticeable to me too. Will upload later when kids are asleep.

Tested more today in the morning sun. This is xfer to Playmemories app and upload without any editing.


I feel the flare and CA control is very good. I usually test lenses from my bedroom view which has a few spot lights. Most of the UWA lenses got flare at the edges but FE1635 don't have this issue.

I read reviews, they were saying the CA is mostly in the middle of the frame, not at the edges. Lol.
