Hello Pauche,

Let me know in future if you have another travelling plan and don't mind someone tag along. I'd rode a few times from SIN to Thailand on group ride and I like taking photos. Hope to learn from you.

wow. what bike did you ride? i've got a 2b licence but don't have a bike (i drive due to parental objections of riding on the road). i've been dreaming of riding up country. is it safe??? you guys are inspirational man!!!

Hi thanks for the comments.... #15-16-17 are shot with a tripod on slow exposure. #18 is a panning handheld shot.

You have pm. ;)

Wonderful set of photos. The portraits are great. Too many good ones to really pick a favourite.

i especially love #9.
the colour composition some how is just so right that it makes the whole picture looks like a well drawn cartoon.
heheheh

Power lah Paul
Long time never go riding with you, your power make my knees go weak :bsmilie:

This one i can help answering abit. Rode abit before in Malaysia and Cambodia.

Road condition and traffic wise can be very different from Singapore. The potholes can be very BIG, little road signs or in language u dun understand, simple traffic rules (BIG vehicles have right of way), the roads can be just dirt trail,.......

Not dangerous but not as safe as Singapore. LOL

If you want inspirations.......go to these SINGAPOREANS' blogs

you don't need any license for bike rental in this part of the world.... :bsmilie:

well, 200+km daily is actually not that bad....... so 3000km was actually accumulated over 2 weeks. no butt sore at all! :bsmilie:

Very nice series on Laos... Think u've juz did the country a big favour by promoting Laos as the next DIY backpacking destination... ;)

thanks for sharing the series. like all the portraits you took and the mountain scenery along your trip. regretted not spending more time in northern laos when i was there. :(
