Managed to take about 600 shots at temp -10 to -20 on one battery. I was quite happy with that performance.
has anyone besides me had a problem with the EM1 rear dial becoming intermittently unresponsive? as in, as you click the dial in one direction (slow or fast, doesn't matter) to change ISO/aperture/shutter speed/whatever, not all of the clicks register/effect a change. happened with single clicks as well.
i just collected mine again from the service centre this week, making it the second time mine has been in for the same issue.

Yes I have the problem right after I sent in to replace my arrow pad. I have to go travel with the faulty dial and come back again which they replace the whole top unit for me. I think u can request that haha
Paid $2495 for the EM1 with the 12-40mm at the Harvey Norman in Funan yesterday (third day of CNY so most of my regular camera shops were closed). Thanks!
Can't seem to find a set to play around with at the major retailers.
Guess will have to pop over to Funan/Penisula one of these days.

That's a decent price.. Considering some threads mentioned 2700 at least.
Just walk in price or need special lobang?
I've just been made aware that I got a very good price... simple really. As I mentioned above, it was the third day of CNY and most of the camera shops were closed. Tried my luck at Harvey Norman and the guy punched in the numbers on his calculator and told me $2495, adding that it was for that day only. Paid and went off.I'm curious also

Yes! I saw the other guy in the queue for the cashier with one as well. The saleman (a different one) was trying to assure him that the 16GB Class 4 SD card that they threw in with the camera was more than enough for the EM-1.the $2495 was the one day offer (which was advertised in the ST) of =8% + 8% disc off list price. was tempted to get it when the salesman told me he sold 2 sets that morning.
I feel the same way. I use the Sandisk Extreme Pro (the gold one) as well for all my cameras.I'm using the SanDisk gold memory card... With the crazy fps I think we do need that fast buffer
Any EM-1 users here have a tripod L bracket to recommend? Hopefully something not too expensive. Considering upgrading my ballhead and plates.
