sorry to post something unrelated...would like to check if anyone knows the function of the 12-50mm lens of olympus omd?
the dial in front...what is it meant for? i have been dialing but doesnt seems to have any effect on the picture on the lcd screen

Front ring is manual focusing ring. As its electronically controlled, you need to set your camera to S-AF + MF to be able to focus manually. Or you set it to MF. But my suggestion is set to S-AF + MF. So you can use both AF and MF.

and yes...what about this 25mm f1.4? anyone use UV filter for this too? the thread seems to be slanted?
