I am still learning manual focusing. Something I noticed about my OM Zuiko... i find that using this lens on my 5D for night shoots doesn't gives that much good results ... find the pictures tends to be darker... any reasons?
You are doing fine and those are great photos. Which version is yours? Mine is a very late version and it should be very contrasty and sharp wide open.
ermm i dunno which version haha... how to tell? by serial number?

so far i only tested at wide open f1.4 - f2.8 (find f2.8 got the best results for me). Haven tried anything more then f2.8 yet haha.
All Zuiko Om lenses have at least 3 versions. The most important details to consider is the information printed on the front rim of the lens.
Earliest version: will have an alphabet infront of Zuiko like G-Zuiko. This is the 'single coated' version.
MC version: The alphabet in front of Zuiko is dropped and somewhere on the front rim there shud be 'MC' printed. This is the 'multi-coated' version. Preferably, your serial number shud be more than 1.1 million.
Latest version: No alphabet in front of Zuiko as well as no MC but shud have either the word 'Japan' or in some 55mm OM lenses 'Made in Japan' printed on the front rim. Also, serial number if greater than 1.1million will be the best.
Mine has the following information:
OLYMPUS OM-SYSTEM ZUIKO AUTO-S 1:1.4 1140130 Japan
i go back and have another look :bsmilie:
No need, yours is the silver nose version, the earliest version. Thereafter, all Zuikos have only black rim. Am sure you will have an alphabet infront of Zuiko.

i think you are right...

Xu Yeshiong and I met a couple of times since we met at this forum. Together we have collected a pretty good range of OM gears to date and still searching.
Xu Yeshiong:
OM-4Ti
OM 24mm F2
OM 50mm F1.2
OM 50mm F3.5 macro
OM 85mm F2
OM 100mm F2
Myself:
OM-2SP
OM 24mm F2.8
OM 35 F2
OM 50 F1.4
OM 100 F2.8
OM 200 F4
Shooting film is really fun. Both of us also own Canon EOS 5D and with just one adapter, we can use all these OM lenses.
Will post my collection soon.
Hi Anthony,
Where can I get the Canon to OM adapter? Price?
Thank you
Hi Anthony,

Yes, I was asking EOS to OM mount.
Hi Teo, are you the friend of Amiruddin?
Hi Anthony,
Yup, I'm friend of Amir.
You've got good six sense.

Yah, I can tell because I can see OM-100f2 and 21f3.5 written next to your name and no one else can.
