I took these three shots in the Kent Ridge Park. The first shot was trying to capture the sun flare and the shadows on the leaves. The second shot was just to show the sharpness, colour and bokeh. The third shot signifies a happy family, it looks like Papa, Mama and a new-born baby.

hope u didnt get chased around in the house by ur wife with the lens. Haha~

Hi, long time no see.
My wife thought that the price of the lens is proportional to its size, so I managed to 报假数 this time. :p

E-510, 50mm, ISO400, 1/10s, F/2.8, -0.3EV

This shot was taken around my flat in the evening as the lighting from the lamppost and the staircase attracted me. There is no particular subject in this picture, however the bicycle, the red pail and the little cat made the scene not so boring.

Went down to Jurong Bird Park last Sat..

The sewer cover blew the composition but it is easy to remove... nice capture... I like!

So mundane and yet intriguing! Well Seen.....Interesting play of lights and shadows! Awesome Shot! I like it!
It seems that everything has its natural placing on this earth.............sometimes we just need to slow down a little bit just to appreciate the wonders of Mother Nature......(eg shapes, lines, textures, colors, objects placement, space.........etc) and not forgetting the Eye behind the C......!
Oh!......is that the superb Zuiko 50mm f/2 or the f/1.4 we are seeing here?
Excellent clarity and sharpness at this aperture! Kudos!

Hehe.......Cliff you are fast!........you beat me to his picture comment. :bsmilie:

Thanks microcosm, glad that you like this pics. I didn't realise the sewer cover until you pointed it out. Usually, I seldom pp my shots other than cropping and adjusting the exposure. I think I really need to spend some effort on pp to touch up on the details.

Thanks for your compliment, adrewine. Haha!! you are always so interested in my "Gundams", this time round is the CZ 50mm F/1.4. I'm crazy for low light shots, and I hava a few "big-eye Gundams" to play with.

I tried a number of shots on the same scene using different aperatures, somehow at F/1.4 the sharpness from edge-to-edge is not as good as F/2 and above. In the end, I used the F/2.8 one, which gives the sharpest edge-to-edge and yet allows me to hand-hold the camera.

Shot using 12-60mm. FL:24mm S:6 sec A:F10

Couldn't resist taking a shot of the big and bright moon on Saturday night though it seems so small in this photo.

Hi ohmymy, may I know would it improve the composition if you crop more on the right and show more of the lamppost and the tree on the left?

Well...ttiongch, the little boy in me tells me that when you see a good toy like 'Gundam' comes your way, you better grab and play with it! ;p............it's just a boy boy instinct I guessed!

Great find my friend.........Cheers!

This photo has not being cropped. It's the original composition so I cannot try out. Thks for the recommendation anyway. :) Will take note to take more care of the composition.

Well.....here is another one from my trip to Genting Highlands, Malaysia.
Taken with E-510 & 14-42mm kit lens @ 14mm, f/3.5, 1/50 and ISO 800.
You might noticed that at the passage end it's a little grainy and blurry......it's because at that time it was raining and the whole resort was covered with heavy 'fog'/mist......
