Shot on my trusty E-1 at iso800, cleaned up and processed in Silkypix.

juz love the colors...
any post processing done to them to obtain the color richness???

Nothing much done. These were shot on 35-100mm. The colours and details capture is excellent on that lens. Just captured in RAW and converted in Silkypix. Added a little contrast because the setting on my camera is low. That's all that was done. Cheers.

Silkypix renders Oly RAW a lot better than ACR - Silkypix's output is actually very similar to Oly Studio, except that it is faster (and cheaper!) - overall a more powerful app.

How do you determine the proper WB setting for something like this??? :dunno:

Yes, but other than the E-1, most of the time, you have a reference point (eyeball, teeth) and you look for the "whites". In the worse case scenario, remember how colours was when you shot them. The rest is taste and personal preference. My images are usually tilted to the warm side.

Ahh... I was thinking along the lines of how I usually shoot (in JPEG)

So I'm guessing you shoot in RAW and then tweak the WB in post-processing yes?

Use E-1 lor... :bsmilie:

Funny.... :sticktong

But seriously - the external WB sensor on the E1; it's primarily for the "Auto WB" setting right?

Can you can still perform a custom WB through the lens? Which is ore accurate? Leaving the E1 to Auto WB or perform a WB TTL?

Yes to both.

You still can do a custom TTL WB, but the AWB is seriously accurate enough to handle frequent light changes, e.g. concerts.

I really get in love with my newly bought E-1, this is one studio shoot from last week, the amazing red.
