The value of both lenses are relatively close to each other, so there is no need for fancy formulas to for precision calculation like in the previous 17/1.8 and 45/1.8 combo. Thanks

Though that comes with the hassle of changing lenses unless you already have a second or third m43 body.

Personally I've been using 12-40/2.8 throughout my 13 days tour in Europe and it offers great image quality.

Of course prime lenses will offer slightly better quality but I doubt u will want to keep changing lens while traveling and sometimes the environment can be dusty and if any dust get on to ur sensor then u have to waste even more time cleaning rather than focus on shooting.

Just to share the experience I always encounter during tour. Cheers.

Personally I've been using 12-40/2.8 throughout my 13 days tour in Europe and it offers great image quality in and all in 1 lens.

Of course prime lenses will offer slightly better quality but I doubt u will want to keep changing lens while traveling and sometimes the environment can be dusty and if any dust get on to ur sensor then u have to waste even more time cleaning rather than focus on shooting.
