Old CZ lenses onto Sony DSLR

I am a big fan of carl zeiss lenses(contax/yashica mount) of yester year and thinking of using it instead of just restricting it to film .
Since Sony Dslr has link up with CZ , I may buy into it .

Is it possible by using a conversion mount/adapter ?

Here's what I have:
21mm/F3.5 yashinon
50mm/F1.4 Planar
100mm/F2 Planar
180mm/F2.8 Sonnar
28-85/F3.3-4 Vario Sonnar

On top of that , I regularly uses G1 with 35 and 90 too .

I don't think there is any C/Y->Alpha mount adapter currently. You may want to consider getting a C/Y->4/3 mount and use a 4/3->Alpha mount adaptor to use your lenses on a Sony DSLR instead.

If you are able to find someone who can convert the mount for you that would be even better.

You have an exotic lens that I wish to have (CZ 100/2 plannar). :thumbsup:
Fyi, there is an C/Y to Canon adapter but not sure about C/Y to Sony.

I guess you are also someone in the know.
The 100mm Planar is well known for its smooth bokeh (background blur) with rich, deep saturated colors.
It's a keeper and I hope to find the adapter and a Eos body soon.

anyway , I doesn't like the idea of changing the mount eventhough it's fully reversible.

Are you using a adapter to the eos now or the oly ?

I may get a used body/set and then slowly find my way around which is what I used to do all this years.

There should be adaptor avaliable online you just need to look. I assume the Yashinon is a M42 mount. There is adaptor for it and you should be able to get in Singapore.
