depend on stocks availability which no one knows. from the look at it, if PO still need to wait so long to collect, maybe not much stocks for walk in
If the 12-40/2.8 experience is anything to go by , stocks will be very low in shops in Jan/Feb 2015. I had to bring in my 12-40/2.8 from HK back then.
Prices wise I'm pretty sure no shops will offer anything comparable to $1998 for the lens INclusive of the 1.4x TC when the Fuji XF50-140 alone is already pre-ordering at $2399.
Can always prove me wrong 2 months later since this post won't be removed heh.

thks to bros here for the heads up today, i just ordered mine. was still thinking about it yesterday when i saw the this thread that says out of stock. today MTL. but after i ordered, realised that i should have joined the oly club 1st bec can get 2x points at the online store. this translates to $40 off for next online purchase....i could then hv gotten a spare batt for $60 haha.

Don't bother. Once the purchase has been made, and you don't have membership, they can't do anything like give you 2x the points for that purchase. I called and checked with their manager already.
