Tried the FE 55/1.8 during the VIP launch event by Sony. AF is definitely moderate but IQ is top notch in terms of sharpness, IQ and Bokeh. Wish it was a f/1.4 though. :bsmilie:

Thks man as I more to 50mm Len and need one AF at this range to pair my lux 50 so I not to particular whether 1.4 and 1.8 is just right.

Tried the the remote shutter app.. Sweet.. Can even change the Iso, shutter spd n aperture.. First time Sony user.. This is a wonderful feature... Can't wait for a bulb mode app.

The app is installed via the in-camera "app store".. Then control via my droid Sony memories..

i just got my a7 and i wonder how can i force FF when i'm using my Nex lenses? I can't seem to find the function after scrolling through the menus many times. Please help a noob out... thanks in advance

There is a Description call Apsc cspture. By default it's at auto , you can set it to always on or always off.
