Agree if these cameras are rare in supply. However, for the modern cameras, stocks are available ongoing. If a brand new set cost around the same, isn't it better to get brand new set?

Even if scratched cameras are found in stores, they are sold at a higher discounts. Fair?

No all buyers are hung up on appearance. Lots of cameras with scratches, paint loss, etc being sold at 2nd hand shops. Paint loss alone doesn't affect the camera's performance.

Its a free market. Nobody is forcing you to buy. Don't like it? Move on.

Totally agree. Not happy with the price then dont buy, no ones forcing anyone here. Dont get whats the fuss about. Theres no hard fixed rule that flawed cosmetics = must give big fat discounts. Many posting on forums are actual users not resellers. They can post whatever asking price they want. We shouldnt enforce our opinions on how people choose to sell their used equipment.

To be honest I have the feeling most lenses released the last couple of years are overpriced, it aren't just Sony's FE lenses. Prices seems to have kind of doubled the past half decade especially since the reinvention of affordable 135 format camera bodies.

This I agree with you. All the latest fast lenses cost much more than they should. But too bad many rich folks ard who don't mind the high prices.

I usually buy the good lenses 2nd hand after a 1-2 years. Only exception was the new sigma art and sports lenses. Great performance n well priced

Ya lor. Weird seller. Paint loss set probably can't even sell at second hand shops at Peninsula Plaza.

Will be lucky to find buyer who will be willing to pay for less than $2k, especially when retail price starts to drop with healthy supply coming after Dec 2012 initial launch impulse.

Can't believe he's selling the kit with user marks just $100 below suggested retail price. lol

INTOSITE, thanks for the sharing on the template on leatherette. Fits very well.

Some so called 'Diamond' black from those car accessories shop....thin and soft...slightly stretchable too... thats why can cover bits of left corner.

Anyone has any idea how to set the panaroma feature to use manual settings? Current when I use for sunset landscape, the exposure will be adjusted automatically while panning..

the Sweep Panorama feature is an Auto-exposure feature. you can't set it :)

Looking at the lensrentals.com data, the A7r/35FE2.8 is significantly sharper than the D800E/Otus in the center...
