ha.... my review is definitely not biased... i think it could be a firmware problem. the sets we used were still "pre-production". The 55 1.8 focused fine on the A7. fast and accurate. The 28-70 on the other hand was hunting. i think it was using CDAF instead of PDAF and the lower aperture didn't help in the dim settings. but when the AF was locked, the images were not bad. will post some pics later.

the AF speed compared to the latest EOS-M with improved firmware of course... really slow for the 28-70 lens

A7R files actually look better on the laptop. the 36 mp no AA filter is really no horse run... just that UWA is a problem....

the 15mm F4.5 behaves better on the A7. unfortunately i have very little shots on the A7 as i forgot to change to my personal memory cards when i swaped a 7R for a 7

Thanks Ricleo for the 35/1.4 and 5/4.5 shots. Those are the exact lenses I have and great to see them perform well on the A7. Can I check if the 35/1.4 experiences vignetting on the A7, or is it simply due to lighting?

I ordered with MS. Collection is also on the 27th since that is when it's being launched in SG. Freebies are the same as the Sony pre order package.

Another thing I was told by one of the shops was that the A7 body alone would have the lowest availability compared to the A7 kit and the A7r. So better reserve your set soon.
