Haha. A lot of choices if u go for 50/1.4 lenses. Sharp enuff n good Bokeh. BBB.

minolta 50mm md f1.4? slightly over S100 from evilbay :thumbsup:

From my experience, any of these 3 will wow you. All below SGD 300.

1. OM 50f1.4 MC with serial number greater than 1.1 million.
2. Pentax A 50f1.4
3. Nikon 50f1.4 ais
 

F2.8 is not the 'fast' I have in mind and by the way I am already using it.

More like 1.4 or 0.95 hehe

You can get the Rokkor 58mm 1.4 for less than a 100 bucks cheers

you can call the shops to ask , due to high demand, they will probably qoute you retail price, but hopefully you can still get the pwp for handgrip and batteries

I presume they are all manual focus?

What kind of adaptor should I use in the case of Nikon 50/1.4 etc
 

for pwp dont forget the la ea4 adapter. You might not have any a mount lenses now, but can save quite a bit if willing to go for older minolta glass.

Nikkor fan eh? Quite a range of adaptors u can find in Peninsula and Evilbay. price from 20 bucks to 300 bucks.
 

i have a number of Minolta MC lens, but didnt get any of the fast 50mms heh. I am minolta fan to be specific :)

Ah... interesting... should meet u n inter-poison each other...
 

Finally managed to get the screen protector at Cathay
