Another good shop is Map Camera at Shinjuku. They sell new and used lenses at a great price. Better than Yodobashi.
Will go there have a look as well but next week liao. If I still have enough yen left thats if. Lolx

Anyone can kindly advise where has the best deal for a new Sony A7 or A7R body and lenses in Singapore? It seem places like Courts, Harvey Norman, and Best Denki do not carry these cameras. Also Sony current having One + One promotion with $200 cash back. Does this apply to only Sony stores or Island wide? (e.g. can I ask for One + One promotion with Cathay Photo?). Pardon my ignorance here.

Typical places to get is from Click! , SLR Revolution, TK Photo. TK was said to scorn at sony, but started carrying sony recently. All shops at Funan.
Another place to try is MS Color at ang mo kio.

I went to Harvey Norman and Tk Foto yesterday at Funan and both said they don't carry Sony A7/R. Is it true for all Harvey Norman, Courts and Best Denki island wide that they don't carry Sony A7/R and the FE lenses?

I would say yes. The last time I went there the new lenses were like 10-15% cheaper compared to SG. The used ones have 3 different gradings from A (flawless) to C (some signs of wear and tear). Better yet you can still claim for GST at the airport and they usually give some free gift upon purchase. Check out their site at https://www.mapcamera.com/. Do note that it's quite a small shop so you dont have much space to play around the different kits. If you want to test different lenses, Yodobashi is just next door. Their basement is like a museum, full of Leica and vintage cameras. They also offer good discounts to selected accessories although not as complete as Yodobashi's.
Osaka may have its own second hand shop but I have yet to explore.

thanks bro yeah I always at Yodobashi also normally staying near Osaka Stn they have one huge yodobashi there. When I was there last Feb there where some fellow Alpha user (Japanese) even we kinda hard to communicate we all discussing about A7r and some legacy lenses hehe. Having cam is one way to connect with other ppl
I have not seen 2nd hand shop in Osaka not familiar much to the place I am always in Tokyo my 2nd time only in Osaka so was wandering aimlessly there hehe
