Make sense to me... if they can bring in and out of the customs, then many things can be brought in and out without control.
Sony Zeiss Sonnar T* FE 35mm f2.8 ZA lens review: Model behavior
http://www.dxomark.com/Reviews/Sony...ed-on-Sony-A7R-Well-above-average-performance
And one more for comparison to RX1-R 35mm fixed lens:
http://www.dxomark.com/Lenses/Compa...-Zeiss-Sonnar-T-STAR-35mm-F28___1196_0_1251_0
Unfair comparison definitely, since RX1-R is based on 24mpx and A7R/35FE is based on 36mpx. But in real life, A7R with 35FE will be sharper than RX1-R.
I can help to get a 35 if anyone is keen. Travelling tomorrow afternoon. Pm me.
If you look at F2.8 on both systems, it would seem that the RX1-R has better acutance. However, DXOMark sharpness is based on acutance and MTF.

Tried out the 24-70mm f/4 demo set at Click this evening. Its pretty sharp but there is visible barrel distortion at 24mm. I think I see some pincushioning from 50mm onwards too. Definitely getting the lens though.
Changi T1 have stocks for 35 & 55mm but saw about 2 boxes each.
Tokyo have ample stocks including 24-70 f4 selling @114095 yen after rebate tax. Was surprise ps4 not officially release yet in japan
