Only true to a certain extent. If the shot is totally crap our out of focus, or there is not enough light, PP can only bring it to so much.
You can even shoot with an iphone and it will be able to give u professional results if u shoot it stuck to a tripod, and make sure if u $50000 worth of studio lights, excellent makeup artist, and a PP artist who is willing to work a little harder than normal.
Olympus is so Apple 1995.
Olympus does everything by committee instead of having a vision. It was killing Apple.

That will only help the PEN... And that the Jap did change people for the E-System. But that is a different thing altogether... shall not tell too much.. Sigh... I hate the new E-System team.
I pity the folks in Oly Singapore or any offices outside Japan/US... the wrath they have to put up from Olympus users. Sigh... poor folks.
If more discerning consumers refuse to buy the E-5, perhaps olympus will wake up their ideas faster.
Another possibility is that they may discontinue the E-system entirely if sales becomes too poor to be viable. If anything, trust the japs to come up with weird moves.
Very likely I will be shooting with Nikon in the coming year, grudgingly.

Why grudgingly? If u can decide on choosing Nikon, there shud be something good about it. Look at the positives la, soon u'll realise its also very enjoyable to continue shooting :lovegrin:

They've probably propped him up in his office and someone else is making the decisions and that's why they're doing what they are. :bsmilie: "Mr. Maitani, why aren't your lips moving and why do you smell so bad?"
There have been quite a few companies in Japan that came together out of someone's vision, but we're not taught to be visionaries. We're taught to be part of the group. It's the disruptive influence in the group that makes things interesting.
At Apple, Steve Jobs is as hated as he is liked but he helps push the company forward every day because he has an enthusiasm for technology. Most companies do without such people and rely on being wildly average and filling the everyday needs. Apple (since iPod) make you need more things.
