Went to KL, caught(took pics) a beauty in IranAir EP-IAD (B747SP) one of the few(think its 4/5 according to the B747SP website) left in scheduled passenger service......is this a frequent visitor to KLIA or is EP-IAB( the other SP from IranAir) a more frequent visitor?

But KL receives the SP 4 times a week, so its not really rare for all those people working in KL or whatever(rare to me though). So much for being the best airport(i think) in the world, asked around the whole airport trying to find a KLIA flight schedule without any success.

Not too sure where to spot as I went there for holiday purposes and it was very rush, only managed to take some pictures from inside the departure terminal and inside the aerotrain(although the IR flight was in the morning, so you must be there real early to catch one (lucky for me i took the 0725 flight to KUL))

Pls forgive the picture quality of the photo(s), and my lens makes it impossible to take landing shots (thats why all my pics are from the T1 viewing gallery instead of changi beach). Will try to upload more when my broadband connection is "installed" next week, internet now using the dongle is very slow.

Sorry, i took the 0728 3K683 flight, landed in KL at 0823, equipment was a Valuair 9V-VLA A320 though. Saw the IranAir SP while taxiing to the gate (The 1st leg from Tehran arrived at 7 plus if i'm not wrong)

Don't know if this is the appropriate thread to post but latest news.
Airbus A400M just took off for its first flight hours ago.

The Boeing 787 has also complete final gauntlet testing and the focus will now be on the first flight. First flight is projected to be on December 15th 10am Seattle time.

I expected a C-130 lookalike... now it looks like a propellor version of A380. :bsmilie:

I think it looks really good. Four big huge propeller engines with swept wings. Each engine produces 11,000 SHP and it cruises at Mach 0.72. Would be nice to have a diecast model of the A400M. :)

What do you guys think of this? Photo courtesy of Boeing.
