Yup, RAAF F/A-18 Hornets and F-111 Aardvarks might be deployed for the exercise too. ;)

Side Note: Those will probably be temporary based at TUDM Butterworth AFB though.

Beats having to settle your business in a metal bucket and having the entire E-2C hawkeye crew breath through their O2 masks during the period. :bsmilie:

haha, actually the e-2c does have a toilet too. but no one uses that. the crew just tahan all the way till the plane lands. only the pilot uses the pee tube.. which unfortunately. just drains the pee out of plane. hahaha

Wow,

its been awhile since i last had time to browse CS ... ahh i see dat the pics r still rolling .. Nice work ..

Orion, since T1 is now down i suppose there's no more indoor spotting locations? Btw, recommend some outdoor spots for me (no car), been awhile since i went spotting ..

It is still possible to spot at the viewing mall of Terminal 1 otherwise you could give Changi Beach Park a try though RWY 20R and RWY 20C might be currently used for departures instead as the prevailing wind direction changes gradually from southwest to northeast during this inter-monsoon period.

The location is reachable by SBST bus service No. 9, 19, 89, 89e, alight at Changi Point Beach (Changi Beach), Carpark 5 (Bus Stop No. B95081) along Nicoll Drive.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for Changi Business Park (CBP), specifically Changi South Ave 3 and Changi South Street 1, there is no public bus servicing the area and you will have to walk approximate 1300 meters from Expo SMRT station (CG-01).

JTC feeder bus services to CPB runs on specific timing only, their time schedule can be located here. ;)

Firefly ATR 75-500 at Singapore Budget terminal.

Thought it's ATR 72-500.

Anyway, (dont know where to post)taking Jetstar to KUL, which side of the plane should i sit at (from the back of the plane) for the best views from takeoff/landing/taxi positions?

Thanks.

That will depends on which runway that you will be departing from, typically I sit towards the side with a view of the aerodrome during the take-off and climb phrase. ;)

Correction ATR 72-500 and not ATR 75-500.

Thanks.
