Nope, did not see any of the KC-135Rs while I was there. :dunno:Did you manage to catch hold of the KC-135 taking off also? I was near there for work, but forgot my DSLR..![]()

Your photos are..., ermmm... rather "exotic" by local standards, thanks for sharing.

You don't happened to be involved with what I like to termed as "organic FOD management" at the aerodromes?
Thanks for the compliment, still experimenting here and there with my DSLR and any C&C are most welcome to improve.
OFOD Management, technically you can say that unless you are aware of what ASU are doing for the past 6 months intensively on WSSL & WSSS on the runway. We are just volunteers having a good time there and having a camera there was a plus point for me personally to snap at the aircraft.
Love the first shot, but I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I am assuming your vantage point for these pics is not for anyone....
More or less, that is an affirmative and as such airport police officers does have the rights to request that you cease and desist (C&D) all photography activities even within the viewing malls of the aerodrome terminals.
As a rule of thumb for me, photography of any aircraft airborne above the top of the perimeter fencing is considered "fair game".
I wouldn't worry about the OSA, it will be a major PR disaster on a international scale for the Singaporean authorities and public prosecutors from the Attorney-General's Chambers to press charges on plane spotting and photography enthusiasts for espionage despite the enormous onus of even proofing one as such.Actually, I've always wondered about that. There's a clause in the OSA that says,
"Provided that it shall not be an offence under this subsection to take or make, outside a prohibited place, a photograph or drawing in which such place or part thereof is included, unless it is proved that the photograph or drawing is intended to be prejudicial to the safety or interests of Singapore or to be directly or indirectly useful to a foreign Power or to an enemy"
Likewise, there is a power to seize any apparatus for taking photographs inside a prohibited place, but the Act is silent on apparatus used outside a prohibited place.
Then again, the constitution also guarantees the right of free speech...
:thumbsup::thumbsup:just sharing my picasa link of some pics that I took a few weeks ago using my Canon 100-400 at the Changi Beach Park. Was my first plane-spotting... so shud hopefully manage better pics next time.

The civilian and commercial G550 bizjet comes standard equipped with both a fwd and aft lavatories and a single galley, though a lavatory and the galley might be removed in the G550-CAEW.

How many photos of the Thunderbirds at TUDM Subang AFB did you took in total?
Beats having to settle your business in a metal bucket and having the entire E-2C hawkeye crew breath through their O2 masks during the period. :bsmilie:oh defintely not. there's a lavatory n a galley in the CAEW. unfortunately, there won't be a stewardess for the aircrews. haha. its all self service.
