hiyah...Hello guys, I was recommended by one of the members over here about this forum. I have been visiting Canon sub-forum all this while but didn't know of this thread exist. So here I am.
do often go to Changi Beach for 20R landing actions as this is one of the few places to take aviation photos. Sadly, the viewing mall in T1 will soon be closed, missed those days when we can watch take off and landing action of 02L/20R. There was Swensens too. Ice-cream and plane spotting comes in together.

The Swensens there closed ages ago and now avail at T2. T3 got the Earle Swensens.
I do have the best views to take planes whether static, taking off or landing but sadly i cannot bring camera in.
Yes, if only I have started photography when SQ operated the 757, DC-10, A300s..etc My very first flight was on SQ's 727, that was what my mum told me, think I was only 2-3 years at that time.
What are you working as?
Welcome and do kindly share your photos with us.Today's weather was pretty disappointing despite of the sunlight which came out for a couple of hours. However, I have a few nice photos, should I post a few over here?
SQ's 333, 77W and 388 always get me very excited !
Now, my main target is QF's 388. Going to try to get the landing shot this coming thursday morning.

waoh... used for aerial target towing ah...Swee.
This particular Learjet 45 is operated by the Pacific Flight Services (PFS), a subsidiary of Singapore Technologies (ST) Aerospace, and is often charter by the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) to tow aerial target for naval gunnery exercises.
Saw it a couple of times at WSSL though I didn't knew it was Australian registered, guess I learn something new every day.
There was an incident back in 8th of May 1987 when the steal cable used to tow aerial target from a F-5E Tiger II failed to jettisoned after a live firing exercise (as per SOP), and subsequently whipped across the motorbike of a 42 years old Indian motorcyclist travelling to Hougang along Eunos Link as the F-5E Tiger II make its short final for WSAP, RWY 02.waoh... used for aerial target towing ah...

Aerial target towing for the air force and navy was outsourced to Pacific Flight Services Pte Ltd with their Learjet 35A and Learjet 45 after a similar incident involving a A4 Skyhawk in Malaysian territory as well.
