Thanks, Jephry:)
I used a Pentax K20D and the Pentax DA*50-135 f/2.8 lens for the most recent shots.
Shot in RAW, converted in ACR, and cropped + resized + sharpened in PS CS3.

Judging from your photos, you must be really familiar with Changi Airport by now. Back when terminal 3 was even constructed I love to explore around, especially the office building between the terminals together with a couple of mine friends. :D

The following photos are my first attempt at night time aviation photography, comments and critiques are very much welcome and appreciated.

Drove my mum to catch a late night / early morning flight before proceeding CBP to watch her flight take off from RWY 02L hopefully and was still setting up the tripod and remote timer when the aircraft started rolling. This would explain the uncompleted trail of the aircraft anti-collision and navigation beacons at the start, the trail at the background is that of another aircraft landing.

Surprisingly, there are still quite a few couples in their cars at 0400 - 0500 hours.

Both photos taken with bulb exposure (30+ seconds) at f/13 with custom WB.

Cowz.

saw this pokemon aeroplane flying past punggol east

Nice shot!

I was damn tempted to borrow a cam and shoot it from inside PLAB as it taxied pass the terminal for takeoff.. Trust me, the view from inside the base is damn nice. You're just 20 M away from the planes.

Thanks for the compliments.

Yup, all photos shot on a tripod with mirror lock-up enabled and using timer remote. ;)
