been some time since i posted photos. Heres my take over the past few mths, couldnt find the time to PP till tday. Sry
Alrite, so far the best 4 picks.

Jetstar A320-200. Sry for the bad job on the blur :embrass:
Camera: Olympus E-3 + 70-300mm.

SilkAir A320-200. Ok this is not bad, no "props"(lamp-posts etc.) blocking the plane.
Camera: Olympus E-3 + 70-300mm.

SilkAir A320-200. Basically the same plane taxi-ing across.

No more test flight, pikacu left Paya Lebar Airbase on Tuesday(IIRC =p)

no lah... just happen to see the same pic in some other forums previously way back in Jun...

btw, can PM me location for spotting at pasir ris?

Remember to use mosquito repellant before coming, mosquitoes down there are really fierce ;(
I've killed at least 20 of them in 5 minutes.

Remember to use mosquito repellant before coming, mosquitoes down there are really fierce ;(
I've killed at least 20 of them in 5 minutes.

Very hard to fix. The bluish tint can be removed through colour adjustments.
But nothing can help compensate the lack of sharpness in a soft picture.

So the best way is still to go outdoors to take pictures, preferably on a day with few clouds.

Hi All: I must say I'm glad that I've found fellow photographers who are keen in aviation photography. I'm a newbie in this field and these are some of the photos I shot in T1 viewing gallery. PP is done in Lightroom using High-contrast' preset. Hope to learn from u guys. All comments are welcome!

In my most humble opinion, the high contrast B&W enhancement are kind of inappropriate in such a given environment and situation, there are simply too many unwanted "clutters" around in the photo to properly isolate the subject and my eyes simply wander aimlessly around the photo.

My two cents.

Anyway I had enquired with some of the LAEs whom are former RSAF senior technicians, apparently those "missiles" are actually known as Acceleration Monitoring Assembly (AMA) or Acceleration Monitoring Device (AMD) pods. Some are painted a different colour to aid in aerial recognition.

Was taken in the plane with the Sun coming from the other side. This was about local time 8am.
Wasn't sure what was it at 1st. haha..Until i realise it was the aircraft's shadow casting onto the cloud.

Thanks for the commets. They are most welcomed. I agree that B&W photos are usually not related to aviation photography. Aviation magazines usually also featured coloured photos. However, these shots were taken in a rather dull day and the original colours are not to my likely. Hence I took the ilberty to apply some effects to savage some of the shots.

Can you let me know which are the cluttered elements in the photos? I'm trying to learn and composite my airplane shots. Thanks!
