That's actually a Douglas DC-8, a legacy of the jet age and extremely rare in Singapore. It's been ages since I had spotted one.I think is a Boeing.. but it has 4 engines

Welcome to clubsnap.
Do you stay in Sydney? A friend of mine brought me around Sydney Airport when I paid a visit sometime last year, quite a couple of fantastic locations to catch some planes over there. The local plane spotting was extremely dynamic, unlike Singapore and I love it.
I am sorry to hear of your experience with the police and taxi driver in Singapore.Thanks..Sydney offers some gr8 spots for photography. I like Changi Beach for photography in Singapore.
Is the Changi terminal I viewing gallery still open? Last year there was some construction.
My last trip has bitter memories as the taxi driver argued with us for 10 cents, we paid his exact fare and took what he returned, we were not thinking of the fare as we were in rush to catch our flight, and the taxi driver picked up argument with us, that we are cheapos cant let go of 10 cents.
As we had many bags, we forgot the camera bag in the taxi. Lost a new Canon 450D with 3 new lens and all the gear, Whenever i think of the incident i feel very angry cze inspite of calling the taxi company immediately. the taxi driver said he made it from Changi airport to Serangoon in 15 mins after dropping us. He said a man caught a taxi at the airport and walked in the dark in Serangoon road. Which I know is BS.
We didn't report the matter to the police as we already experienced what happens in Singapore in another matter. We didn't want to waste our time.
Anyways, most of my photos are taken from Canon S3. Hope you enjoy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This photo was taken the same day as the G550-CAEW, at 1429 hours. WB was set to shade (edited) and the colours further saturated, not really what I had wanted to achieved but then I sucks at post-processing.

RSAF: 111 Squadron "Jaeger" @ TGA/WSAT (TAB).
E-2C Hawkeye (Group 0), BuNo. 162794 (RSAF S/N: 012).
Surprise, Surprise! Somebody decided to turn rambo today as he makes a steep roll to the right (directly above me) in order to maintain runway heading for a visual approach to RWL 36 of TGA/WSAT (TAB) 1800 meters away.
With the APS-138 surveillance radar powered down and secured, landing gears with tail skid fully deployed (just next to the tail hook). The 2 pilots & 3 WSOs from RSAF most active squadron prepares to return home after spending the last 6 hours protecting the skies of our nation.
Trivia: The sister of this aircraft, BuNo. 162795 (RSAF S/N: 014), suffered a belly landing 21 years ago in 1988 when the Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) was disabled to facilitate a Nap-Of-The-Earth (NOE) flight profile of the aircraft in an exercise or a test flight. The pilots on-board failed to lower the undercarriage prior to landing and crash landed resulting in damages to a portion of the airframe, turboprop engines, and the UHF and VHF antennas. Being built for a controlled crash landing aboard aircraft carriers probably reduce the severity of the damage and the aircraft was brought back to active service after being promptly repaired.
Ah, the infamous ANA JA8957 AKA the "Pikachu Jumbo" only two such paint schemes exists in the entire world, with the other being ANA JA8956 AKA the "Ohana Jumbo".
Danke!Nice pictures of the G550 bro!

The pokemon still there as of 5:30pm today. ;p
There are quite a few ST Aerospace employees in this forum, but they are all secretly hiding in one corner, afraid to come out and post here. :bsmilie:How come you know it's been here since June?
